New Year's Message from a British Nationalist
BRITAIN'S DEBTS SOARED even higher last month as the Government was forced to borrow a further, huge and record high of twenty-three billion pounds on the international money markets - more than a billion pounds borrowed per working day. The Government's accumulated debt is now some colossal 58% of the GDP - the total value of all wealth created in Britain. Our country is living on borrowed money and on borrowed time. To answer the question as to where these gigantic funds are coming from: mainly from the oil-sheikhs of the Middle East and the communist [sic] government of the Republic of China: no particular friends of ours.
In the run-up to last year's general election, Mervyn King, the Governor of the Bank of England, warned that this level of government borrowing was unsustainable and that drastic public spending cuts were necessary and unavoidable. Mervyn King further added, privately, that he doubted whether David Cameron's government would have the stomach to face the inevitable social consequences. Well, in just these last few weeks the Tories have experienced the trashing of their London HQ by the mob, and we have all witnessed on our TV screens the heir to the throne and his wife being attacked and assaulted on the streets of our capital by the same mob.
Our country is facing ruination: we have been de-industrialized, consequent on deliberate government policy, and as part of the same government policy, millions of foreigners have been permitted to enter our country [both 'legally' and illegally, AE]. Meanwhile, social order is in danger of collapsing in the inner areas of our once great cities, and our standard of living now depends on our borrowing, and on a daily basis, vast sums from foreign entities and governments, none of them particular friends of Britain. As things now stand, this country can offer young people no worthwhile or long-term future.
With decades of campaigning behind us, we British nationalists have earned the right to address the abandoned and betrayed sheep who now constitute the bulk of our compatriots, and to drum into them, proclaiming it from the roof-tops, that lesson number one to be learnt is: that it is the Establishment parties, Lib,Lab and Con, which are responsible for the coming debacle.
Only the courage and energy of brave men and women standing up for Britain and giving a lead can save us now.
So, finally, be of good cheer, for we are needed as never before.

Has it come to this?
The following is a recent post on Eddy Butler's blog, www.eddybutler.blogspot.com, by Ron Rickcord, who, for those who may not know, was, with other such luminaries as John Tyndall and Richard Edmonds, a founding member of the British National Party, way back in 1982.
While I profoundly regret Ron's decision not to renew his membership of the party he helped to create, and sincerely hope that he will reconsider, and renew, in spite of Griffin, I think I can understand his feeling the way he does.
Ronald Rickcord said...
Despite having been a member of the BNP since the beginning of 1982, it is with great sorrow and reluctance that I shall not be renewing my Party membership.
My reasons for taking this action are manifold, the main one being the antics of the present leader and his cronies who, during recent months, have caused us incalculable damage, brought embarrassment to all decent members and made the Party a laughingstock.
I did not vote for Mr Griffin when he ousted the late John Tyndall from the leadership, nor have I voted for him since. The fact is that I knew enough of Griffin’s history to fear that his becoming leader would be a disaster. So it has proved. The way he stabbed John in the back was shameful. Without John, there would never have been a BNP; with Griffin as leader, I fear it is doomed.
During the past year, the membership has had to endure the following avoidable calamities: Griffin’s lamentable performance on “Question Time”; his disrespectful behaviour towards the Queen regarding her Buckingham Palace invitation; the juvenile Marmite fiasco; the total lack of transparency of the state of Party funds; the frequent internecine squabbles, plots and expulsions among senior Party members; and the failure to pay our creditors or to submit Party accounts to the Electoral Commission on time.
In view of these and other matters, is it any wonder that good Party members are leaving in droves?
Of course, I shall remain a British Nationalist, albeit not a member of the Party.
I wish all my many Nationalist friends a Happy and Prosperous New Year,
Ron.

BNP vindicated over Muslim paedophilia warnings
The British National Party has been warning about the menace of Muslim paedophile gangs for the last ten years. BNP leader Nick Griffin was put on trial twice by the corrupt authorities for having spoken out on behalf of the victims of these Muslim monsters: young English children.
Even now, the 'mainstream media' give no credit to the BNP for having defied the politically 'correct' wall of silence maintained by the rotten Establishment over the last decade with regard to this issue. Perhaps that is hardly surprising since the so-called fourth estate was complicit with the politicians, police, teachers, and social workers, in suppressing the truth by denying that the problem, where it was even acknowledged, had any religious or racial dimension.
The Daily Mail, like the rest of the odious 'mainstream media', persists in referring to the child victims of these Muslim criminal gangs as "white", rather than English, or Christian, and usually refers to the perpetrators as Asian, rather than use the more informative term, Muslim. This is in order to promote the fiction that the English no longer exist as a recognizably distinct ethnic nation, with the aim of demoralizing the youth of the nation, softening them up for their eventual dispossession of their homeland, and birthright, by means of mass immigration from the third world.
The article now follows.
Top detective blasts 'culture of silence' that allows Asian sex gangs to groom white girls... because of police and social services' fear of being branded 'racist'.
By Daily Mail Reporter.
Last updated at 3:08 PM on 5th January 2011.
Police and social services were today accused of fuelling a culture of silence which has allowed hundreds of young white girls to be exploited by Asian men for sex.
New figures suggest that an alarmingly high proportion of prosecutions for on-street grooming of girls aged between 11 and 16 have involved men of Pakistani heritage.
Experts claim the statistics represent a mere fraction of a 'tidal wave' of offending in counties across the Midlands and the north of England which has been going on for more than a decade.
On-street grooming: CCTV footage shows Mohammed Romaan Liaqat and Abid Mohammed Saddique, who were jailed last year for a string of sexual offences in Derby, cruising the streets in a BMW.
A senior officer at West Mercia police has called for an end to the 'damaging taboo' connecting on-street grooming with race.
Chief Inspector Alan Edwards said: 'These girls are being passed around and used as meat.
More...Asian gangs, schoolgirls and a sinister taboo: As nine men are jailed for grooming up to 100 for sex, the disturbing trend few dare talk about.
'To stop this type of crime you need to start everyone talking about it but everyone's been too scared to address the ethnicity factor.
'No one wants to stand up and say that Pakistani guys in some parts of the country are recruiting young white girls and passing them around their relatives for sex, but we need to stop being worried about the racial complication.'
In a briefing paper, researchers at University College London's Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science concurred that victims were typically white girls while 'most central offenders are Pakistani'.
The offenders were not viewed as paedophiles but had picked the girls 'because of their malleability'.
The report concluded that 'race is a delicate issue' that should be 'handled sensitively but not brushed under the carpet'.
Guilty: Married fathers Mohammed Liaqat (left) and Abid Saddique who were jailed at Leicester Crown Court at the end of last year in one most notorious incidents of grooming young girls.
The grooming usually begins with older groups of men "befriending" girls aged from 11 to 16 they meet on the street.
In a typical scenario, the victim is initially treated as a girlfriend and showered with presents and attention.
But the relationship quickly becomes more sinister as the abuser plies the child with drink and drugs before effectively pimping her out to friends and associates.
The worst cases involve young girls being moved around the country to be repeatedly abused.
Charities and agencies working in conjunction with the police to help victims of sexual abuse in such cases have publicly denied there is a link between ethnicity and the on-street grooming of young girls by gangs and pimps.
Breaking taboos: Chief Inspector Alan Edwards said girls were 'being used as meat'.
But in 17 court cases since 1997 where groups of men were prosecuted, 53 of the 56 people found guilty were Asian, 50 of them Muslim, while just three were white, according to The Times.
The claims come after five Asian men were jailed in November for a total of 32 years for a string of sexual offences against girls aged between 12 and 16 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The presiding judge Peter Kelson QC, told the men they were ‘sexual predators’, adding: ‘You had what you regarded as your fun. Now you will take your punishment.
'All five of you were convicted of sexual activity with a child. The clue is in the title: a child.’
Weeks earlier, nine Asian men were jailed for the 'sustained sexual abuse' of a privately-educated schoolgirl who was forced into sex slavery aged 14 after being picked up by a gang in Rochdale, greater Manchester.
Mohammed Shafiq, director of the Lancashire-based Ramadhan Foundation, a charity working for peaceful harmony between different communities, said last year: ‘I think the police are overcautious because they are afraid of being branded racist.
'These men are criminals and should be treated as criminals — whatever their race.’
Former Labour MP Ann Cryer provoked a fierce tirade in 2003 when she said the traditional culture of arranged marriages could have caused a criminal minority of Asian men to target vulnerable young white girls for sex.
The cases of on-street grooming in the UK have borne comparison with incidents in the Netherlands involving young white girls being groomed for prostitution by Moroccan pimps, known as 'loverboys'.
A tri-nation study in Utrecht in 2005 and 2006 involving Barnardo's saw a Dutch women's group attack the 'double moral standards' of offenders who 'guard the chastity of their sisters, but... use other girls for their loverboy practices'.
A project in Blackburn has been established to confront the issue while a report by the Derby safeguarding children board in the wake of the arrests last year said there should be greater consideration of 'whether the ethnic background and culture of the perpetrators had any bearing on their decision to take part in this activity'.
THE ASIAN SEX GANGS WHO PREYED ON VULNERABLE YOUNG GIRLS
NOVEMBER 1997: LEEDS TAXI DRIVERS
Mohammed Naim Rashid, 21, was jailed for seven years and Abid Hussain Sadique, 21, for four by Leeds Crown Court in November 1997.
There were 20 victims, some as young as 12, who had been groomed for sex by a ring of private-hire drivers. They were abused in a room above the taxi office.
APRIL 2006: GANG RAPE IN BLACKPOOL
In a case sparked by the disappearance of Charlene Downes, 14, two illegal immigrants were jailed for the rape of another girl, 16.
Puppy Parmar, 31, was sentenced to seven years and three months while Sandeep Chauhan got six years and five months.
Preston Crown Court heard how the girl and a friend were given alcohol at an Indian restaurant before being taken to an attic and assaulted. One victim was abused by four men.
Police have never found any trace of Charlene and two men were acquitted of her murder after a jury failed to reach verdicts.
Victim: Twenty seven young girls, included the interviewee pictured, were abused by the Derby rape gang headed by Mohammed Liaqat and Abid Saddique.
AUGUST 2007: BLACKBURN VICTIMS PASSED ROUND ABUSERS' FAMILIES
A police inquiry into grooming of girls as young as 12 eventually led to the conviction of Zulfqar Hussain, 46, and Qaiser Naveed, 32.
They targeted two 14-year-olds in the care of social services, plying them with drink and drugs before having sex with them in a BMW and a flat.
The victims were also offered to brothers, uncles and friends for sex.
Both were jailed for five years and eight months on charges including abduction, sexual activity with a child and supplying drugs.
OCTOBER 2007 AND JANUARY 2008: 33 VICTIMS AGED 12 TO 15 IN SHEFFIELD
The city's crown court heard how an inquiry was sparked when a number of girls went missing from home.
One 14-year-old was taken for a car ride before being raped.
Failed Iraqi asylum seeker Ayad Mahmood, 35, and Aziz Sabir Hamed, 24, were both given a ten-year sentence.
FEBRUARY 2010: ROCHDALE VICTIM, 16, RAPED BY THREE MEN WHILE FOURTH TOOK PICTURES
Ajmal Afridi, 19, Imitiaz Syed, 20, Tayub Hussain, 19, Mustafa Arshad, 17, and Mohammed Usman Raja, 20, were all jailed for their part in the assault.
The girl was given whisky and possibly sleeping tablets before being raped by Afridi, Syed and Hussain while Arshad took pictures.
She was later found wandering the streets. Raja was jailed for perverting the course of justice.
NOVEMBER 2010: THE DERBY CASE
In one of the most notorious incidents of street grooming to date, nine men were convicted of abusing young girls.
Abid Siddique, 27, Mohammed Liaqat, 28, Mohamed Imran Rehman, 26, Faisal Mehmood, 24, Akshay Kumar, 38, Naweed Liaqat, 33, Farooq Ahmed, 29, Graham Blackham, 26 and Ziafat Yasin, 31, were jailed for their parts in the shocking case.
More than 100 police officers were involved in Operation Retriever, which identified 27 victims, 22 of whom were white.
Siddique and Liaqat targeted their victims on the streets of Derby while driving in a BMW.
They then exchanged numbers, invited them to parties and fed them drugs and alcohol before handing them to older men for sex.
The abuse, which took place in bushes, cars and houses was filmed for other men to view later.

Publish or be damned
The web page content below has been copied today from Griffin's MEP web site. In it he discloses certain details of his income and expenditure as an MEP.
My question to Griffin is this: if you acknowledge the need for "...complete transparency..." in respect of your income and expenditure as an MEP, why do you not do the same thing in respect of the income and expenditure of the British National Party? Why not publish the BNP's annual accounts on the party web site for all the world to see?
Incidentally, you state, in respect of expense claims for car journeys within the United Kingdom, "I have claimed significantly less than the total allowable and will publish the total so far shortly." This promise of yours was made back in June 2010. Why have you failed to honour it? Do you believe that publishing something more than seven months after you have promised to do so "...shortly" is acceptable?
I hope that asking you this kind of question will not adversely affect my chances of being permitted to remain a member of the BNP. Whether it does or not, such questions need to be asked, and deserve to be answered.
I propose to continue to ask them until they are satisfactorily answered.

NICK GRIFFIN: PAY AND EXPENSES
SALARY:My salary is 91,983 Euros a year.
SUBSISTENCE ALLOWANCE:
MEPs receive a Brussels/Strasbourg allowance of €298 per day towards accommodation and subsistence costs. To obtain this they must sign a register anytime between the hours of 7am and 11pm on working days to indicate that they have been in the Parliament building for all or part of each day.
TRAVEL:
Since June 2009, MEPs have been reimbursed at cost for the price of their tickets up to business travel rates and first class rail fares. In the main, I travel by car which means that staff can travel with me at no cost to either me or the taxpayer. I get paid 0.49 Euros per kilometer.
In addition, MEPs can submit claims for car journeys in their own countries up to a maximum distance of 24,000 km annually at the same rate. I have claimed significantly less than the total allowable and will publish the total so far shortly.
[Emphasis mine].
On production of proof of purpose and on production of receipts, MEPs may claim up to €4000 annually towards the cost of travel and accommodation when making journeys outside their own country in connection with the performance of their duties. I have claimed significantly less than the total allowable and will publish the total so far shortly.
STAFF COSTS:
The European Parliament pays allowances totalling £175,800 p.a. per British MEP towards the cost of employing staff. Since June 2009 it has not been permissible for MEPs to employ members of their own family. I use my allowance to employ 8 full-time and part-time staff.
My assistant in Brussels is employed directly by the Parliament. Contracts of employment for all my UK-based staff are deposited with the parliamentary authorities.
I do not use public money to employ any member of my family and have never done so. No part of this allowance goes to me by way of additional personal income, or to the BNP in any way.

Do we need these parasites?
The value for money of the UK's £26 million MEPs
By Rebecca Lefort for the Telegraph 9:00PM GMT 18 Dec 2010.
MEPs from across the European Union have consistently voted against transparency measures that would force politicians to reveal how they spend public money.
Britain's members of the European Parliament are costing the public purse £26 million a year, an investigation has revealed.
The cost goes toward the salaries, pensions and expenses of the 72 elected UK representatives and their staff.
It will rise still further next year after MEPs controversially voted themselves a backdated pay rise and expenses hike last week.
Almost all of the UK's MEPs are better-paid than their Westminster counterparts, with basic salaries of around £79,600. In addition they are able to claim hundreds of thousands of pounds in expenses without providing receipts.
The total bill includes £2.5 million in office costs expenses, £2.1 million in travel expenses and £2 million in subsistence allowance, which can be spent on hotels, taxis and meals while staying in Brussels or Strasbourg, the cities where the parliament is jointly based.
The cost of the politicians – an average of £370,000 for each MEP every year – was revealed as part of a groundbreaking "value for money" investigation which looked at how hard each MEP worked relative to the amount they claimed in expenses.
The resulting league table exposed wide variations in the "value" provided by the politicians. At the very bottom of the table was James Elles, a Conservative MEP for the South East, who claimed £113,000 on travel, office and living allowances in a year – putting him among the 10 highest UK claimants – while taking part in less than 80 per cent of the parliament's plenary sessions, where he delivered only three speeches in 18 months.
Meanwhile his fellow Conservative Charles Tannock, a representative for London, emerged as the best-value MEP. He had a near-perfect attendance record while posing 189 questions to the European Commission and giving 96 speeches – and his travel and office expenses claims were below-average.
MEPs from across the European Union have consistently voted against transparency measures that would force politicians to reveal how they spend public money. Because the parliament does not publish even basic information about expenses claims, our calculations were based on details disclosed voluntarily by MEPs – sometimes because they were obliged to by their parties.
ONLY TWO MEPs - NICK GRIFFIN AND ANDREW BRONS, OF THE FAR-RIGHT [sic] BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY - HAD TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE ANALYSIS BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO REVEAL MOST OF THEIR EXPENSES DETAILS. [Emphasis mine, AE].
Siân Herbert, analyst at Open Europe, an independent think tank, praised the investigation.
She said: "MEPs' activities and whereabouts are woefully under-scrutinised in this country, so this is a great initiative. The system of MEPs' expenses is an absolute minefield, raising serious questions about transparency and accountability.
"It's still completely unacceptable that MEPs are under no obligation to provide information of their expenditure. The whole system needs to go undergo [sic] root-and-branch reform."
The "best value" politician, Mr Tannock, 53, is a former consultant psychiatrist and lecturer who has been an MEP since 1999. He said: "Work in parliament is what we are elected to do, and it is where the money is spent. It is very important that we are there, scrutinising officials.
"I'm very critical of those MEPs who just regard it as a gravy train and do little work. I totally deplore those MEPs who think it is all a waste of time and just grandstand and moan about it.
"You can make a difference as an MEP, and I do, but you need to be there to engage in the discussion."
The "worst value" politician, Mr Elles, 61, is a former civil servant who has been an MEP for 26 years. He said he welcomed The Sunday Telegraph's focus on "value for money", but disagreed with the method used to calculate work rate – which, he said, did not take account of his work on the budgets committee or meeting constituents.
He said: "I have always taken my duties as an MEP seriously and my record over the past 26 years proves I am a hard-working parliamentarian."
A spokesman for the Conservative group of MEPs said: "We welcome this initiative from The Sunday Telegraph but unfortunately the methodology does not take into account the many varied activities of different MEPs."
He said the formula used to calculate the scores was based only on participation at plenary sessions, which are staged around one week in four, and gave no credit for committee work. He added that many MEPs email questions directly to Commissioners instead of submitting them formally.
However, the European Parliament does not disclose comprehensive figures for members' attendance at committee meetings.
The £370,000 average cost of a UK MEP includes salaries, pension entitlements and the actual total travel, living and office expenses claimed, added to the maximum allowable staffing costs – as most MEPs did not divulge the actual amount they spent on staff.
Robert Sturdy, the Conservative MEP, who had the second-worst value-for-money score, said the finding was linked to his ill health. His spokesman said: "Mr Sturdy has undergone two operations this year ... This has naturally affected his attendance as he has been unable to travel. However, he has still worked extremely hard for his constituents."
Doru Frantescu, co-founding director, of VoteWatch. eu, an independent watchdog, said: "It is great that journalists are using this data in the way it should be used.
"The information is the best we have. The attendance is the attendance rate only in the plenary, not committees or other places, but it is all the European Parliament publishes, so it is the only thing we can use. It has got better but still they do lack some transparency."
The pay deal agreed for MEPs last week includes a two per cent rise in annual salary with a backdated element which means that each will receive a lump sum of more than £5,000 in salary and extra expenses next month.
Alyn Smith, the Scottish National Party MEP, said he hoped his fellow MEPs would agree to make the expenses system more transparent.
"I challenge the MEPs on a cross party basis to come up with a template for all MEPs. Currently different MEPs reveal different things which makes it very confusing," he said.
"I would ideally like all MEPs to sign up to a voluntary code to coordinate the release of expenses data."
The Sunday Telegraph was the first to publish, in 2007, a "value for money" table for Westminster MPs, which showed that Philip Hollobone, the Tory MP, was the best-value, while Clare Short, the former Labour minister, was the worst.
It was hailed by Martin Bell, the former independent MP who campaigned against parliamentary sleaze, as a valuable step forward in holding MPs to account.

Say Not the Struggle Naught Availeth
Say not the struggle naught availeth,
The labour and the wounds are vain,
The enemy faints not, nor faileth,
And as things have been things remain.
If hopes were dupes, fears may be liars;
It may be, in yon smoke conceal'd,
Your comrades chase e'en now the fliers,
And but for you, possess the field.
For while the tired waves, vainly breaking,
Seem here no painful inch to gain,
Far back, through creeks and inlets making,
Comes silent, flooding in, the main.
And not by eastern windows only,
When daylight comes, comes in the light;
In front the sun climbs slow, how slowly!
But westward, look, the land is bright!

The lying in the north
The letter published here is sadly typical of the heart-breaking disillusionment and demoralization which has been brought about by Griffin's betrayal of the British National Party over the last several years. What can I do but entreat Roy and Elise, and every other member of the BNP, not to despair of the party, and to renew their membership? The party is more than its leader, much more in this case, and salvation may be closer than any of us know.
Roy's letter now follows.
Today is a sad day for myself and my wife Elise,as it marks the end of our membership of the BNP. The reasons for this to some are obvious , to the blinkered fools who still believe in King Nick and his rotten corrupt regime the obvious will manifest itself to you shortly as well.
We are talking here of a party that cannot produce accounts for 2009 even though we were assured by nick he had employed the best accountants and legal minds money could buy, what a lie that turned out to be.
We are talking here of a party that cannot conduct a leadership election without resorting to hatefull smear campaings against the challenger (Eddy Butler) and suspending /expelling anyone who supported a challenge (myself included).
A party that thru Nicks incompetance has been dragged thru the courts by the Ehrc at a cost of hundreds of thousands,by Unilever for the stupid Marmite prank, costs of over 100,000, and numerous employment tribunals, settlements against the party unknown ,and Kenny and Nicola Smith,Ian dawson etc massive costs ,all unknown to the members.
A party that wrecked any election success by announcing a fictitous murder plot to get rid of Mark Collet in case he spilled the beans on where the money went.
Need i go on ,just visit http://eddybutler.blogspot.com/ to find out the true state of the party.
As to BNP Scotland, that has been wrecked by the Sycophantic Mentally unstable liar and [deleted: potentially actionable, AE] Gary Raikes, strong words may be but none the less true (ask Hammy).
Dozens of good people of been got rid of by Raikes so he could continue to massage his ego and support the corrupt regime of King Nick, Raikes thinks hes going to hollyrood ,he should be going to jail for what hes done up here in scotland.
So to the future we must all look, mine will be with another Nationalist party for the forthcoming elections here in scotland, not to split the vote as some will no doubt claim ,but to continue the cause, but in a party that can be seen to be open and democratic, something the BNP isnt.
I wish you all well and a happier new year.

Griffin, Lord of the Trolls
The statement below, by Nick Cass, was published on the British Democracy Forum on 2 January 2011. It is consonant with my own view that Griffin is a coward, who dare not engage personally with his critics lest his moral bankruptcy be exposed. Instead he relies upon a troll army of ignorant sycophants to spread disinformation on the web, under a cloak of anonymity.
These slaves are as cowardly, and contemptible, as their master.
The statement now follows.
Thanks for the lengthy discussion on my decision to stand alongside Eddy Butler in the recent leadership challenge.
But I am not looking for forgiveness as I have done nothing wrong and I have not made any mistakes. I always conduct myself professionally and unlike our opposition in this internal election, I did not lower myself to personal insults even though I was on the receiving end of them on a blog. I still support Eddy Butlers appeals for financial transparency in both the party and Trafalgar Club. Something which is normal in most members clubs from knitting to the squash club I used to play for, who used to provide visible accounts for its members yearly.
How terrible am I, wanting to see where the members money has gone when the party is in financial chaos. It would be irresponsible if I didnt question what was going on. My loyalty is with the party and when I dont get straight answers from a party of 'honesty' it sets alarm bells ringing.
My argument on a personal level briefly mentioned in the speech I gave, was an example of how the party treats its long standing and dedicated members. It is an issue I feel very strongly about, as most are volunteers. We wont get very far ditching our most dedicated people and treating them in a way almost designed to push them out of the party. But that is exactly what happens and has done scores of times, with scores of decent people.
I sent letter after letter to party HQ and deputy leader Simon Darby outlining issues I had with the way the party had dealt with certain issues. Some relating to me, and some relating to the general membership. After nearly 20years of party activism and membership you would have thought they would have wrote back or contacted me. But no, all my letters were ignored.
What kind of party treats its members - its volunteers, let alone people like my family who have sacrificed so much for the party, and have never done anything other than be ambassadors for the party. Their behaviour was almost designed to get my back up - which it did. But my own personal experiences were not the cause of my support for Eddy.
I sent a letter to Nick Griffin before I decided to stand alongside Eddy asking him to meet up and discuss Eddy's financial questions and other issues relating to his campaign for leadership. I said i would withdraw my support if he addressed the issues Eddy was campaigning on. He never replied, although he did reply when I sent him a letter about the blog set up which was obviously done by someone close to nick.
I have never left the BNP and have continued my membership because it is the party closest to what I believe in. But as for dedicating my time, money and good family image to a party who has no respect for its members -that simply wont happen.
If Nick Griffin wants to cantact me to discuss this I am quite happy to meet him and maybe we can sort this out once some of the questions I have are answered. But the ball is in his court as I have already tried.
Last thing. If you dont have the bottle to use your real name, dont be surprised if I dont bother putting write all the tripe people have to say about me.
No time for false names. Slag me off when you have grown some balls.
Cheers, happy new year.
Nick

These ranged from the day to day activities of paper-selling and leafleting, to the serious business of running election campaigns in my region and the party's National Disciplinary Officer. As the party's youngest Regional Organiser in the early nineties I built up Scotland as the largest region in the whole of the party. I would like to think that the then party chairman John Tyndall, held me in high regard. As a region we didn't ask Central Office for anything. We just got on with the job. Scotland is and always has been the hardest place for the party to do well due to various circumstances.
Around the early Nineties the party was treading on water elsewhere in Britain. We had some success in London using techniques pioneered by a relatively young Eddy Butler. Apart from that, nationalism in the BNP reminded me of the brick wall and head equation. I knew something had to be done to move the party forward. No disrespect for the party leader John Tyndall. His outlook was more on the past than the future.
I read many articles from many people on Nationalism and discussed these with a couple of close comrades. After identifying two or three people who might fit the bill we decided to pursue two candidates. We made contact and arranged to meet them. Nick Griffin was by far the most impressive of the candidates. At the time I hasten to add we were looking for some new blood and new ideas and a possible leader for the future. At that time there was no one who could have fulfilled the leaders role if anything happened to John Tyndall. Nick did fit the bill and we hoped he liked what we had to say.
Anyway Nick took a look at the party and saw it's potential. A short time after that he became involved.
In 1999 circumstances led to Nick making a leadership challenge. In my opinion he had no option. Modernisers in the party myself included felt that the party was being held back by not embracing new techniques that had proved successful for our elections guru Eddy butler. He hadn't got the proper backing with finance and manpower when he needed it most. Nick was put forward as the candidate for change. His campaign manager was Tony Lecomber in the South with myself in the north. Mr Tyndall thought Nick had no chance although we new different. I advised Nick and his campaign manager Tony to run a clean fight. It was a credit to nationalism and internal democracy that they did. Mr Tyndall's camp ran a dirty campaign which I didn't expect from him. John Tyndall was a man of great honour and I thought he lost some of that in his campaign tactics. He was a great friend to me and I never saw him in the same light again after that. In defeat he was offered Honorary Presidency of the party, a lifetime seat on the ruling council and a party pension. He refused.
John Tyndall thought that the BNP was his and he found out the hard way that he was only a part of the machine. The BNP is all of ours. There is not one person who is or ever could be bigger than the machine, that spirit inhabits all of us and is to share amongst its beholders.
John Tyndall who should have been one of the great heroes that had guided our movement, is now in some eyes not that man. When time comes it comes and there is no will on earth that can stop it. Have the vision to accept that.
I have been in someway involved ever since in the party. I do not regret helping to elect our current Chairman. He was just what we needed at the time and I do still hold him in high regard.
Our new leader had many talents. There were however some decisions he should leave to others. Nick has never been good at management that's why he knows he needs a helping hand at that task. Nick is a politician and he should stick to that. Every problem I've seen in this party is due to the wrong people being given jobs normally because of who they are, not of what they can do. We've seen masses of talent get thrown out or leave the party. Ask yourself how many management people or officers are now gone because of policy disagreements? Very little. They are all gone due to mismanagement. Ask yourself why the party finances are a complete shambles? Lots of money going through over the years. Misspent and thrown away on stupid misguided actions. I say to you Nick, that you would have fired yourself, from where I'm standing. Your wrong actions have purged this party, our party of the best that we had. You take every bit of criticism as a personal attack. It's fair enough to say you have the hardest job in the country, but let people help you. The right people. There are plenty of people, managers, accountants, fundraisers, strategists and just plain people with common sense who are in this party. It's our party. We want to help.
First we have to get rid of the stranglehold we're in, no naming names. If you can't see that this party needs politicians to engage in politics, accountants to deal with the accounts etc. Our people appointed no one else. Our members.
Why are you so scared and employing underhand tactics when someone is left with no option than to stand for leader? It's disgraceful! And if Eddy Butler doesn't succeed in being nominated then what? Will we all go away and live happily ever after? You are too clever not to see what is on the horizon. I've seen you make many wrong calls over the years. No one could call them all right. I'm not saying that. We all need help. Even when there is a mess to clean up. All I'm saying is dialogue gets you everywhere, in silence we are sunk. It might be time to step upstairs, politics for politicians. Don't let your honour [What honour? AE] pass under the bridge Nick.
There are many, many good people who feel this way. I've been asked to mention a few although I'm not going to. There are plenty of so called Griffinites out there many in staff positions and organisers, officers of the party to scared to say what they feel. That certainly doesn't make me proud. Remind me is that not why we fight? To be able to say what we see?
