The following is an extract from the blog of Simon Darby, Deputy Chairman of the British National Party.

'Consequences

'Riots and big fires in Croydon, looting in Dulwich. Interesting news is that "journalists" working for the controlled media are being attacked. Serves them right, in the big picture they are more responsible for this than the rioters themselves. This is the "society"they have been paid to create, well now they live with the consequences.'

What a crass thing to say! How irresponsible! Talk about "careless extremism".  If journalists are attacked it does not serve them right, and it is wrong-headed in the extreme of Darby to say that journalists "...are more responsible for this than the rioters themselves." Journalists did not "create" our society, the senior politicians of the failed Establishment did.

But even they do not deserve to be attacked by rioters, whose criminal turpitude cannot and must not be excused.  As the BNP, our leadership must set an example of respect for the rule of law and due process. As it is, our party's leadership has let its members down very badly in this regard.  Very badly indeed: which is why we need new leadership, and why we shall have it.
