Strategy for a General Election

By Andrew Brons MEP

Posted by admin on 9 January, 2012

At the 2010 General Election, the British National Party contested 339 constituencies. If there were to be a general election in March or June 2012, it would be difficult for it to contest thirty-nine seats.

However, before any of the present leadership’s critics start to cheer, we must remember that no other single nationalist party would manage to do any better. No party would reach the magic figure of one hundred contested constituencies to earn a party election broadcast (PEB).

If the English Democrats were to do so, it would show a PEB extolling the virtues of multi-racialism—doing the Establishment’s job for it and spitting in the face of the cream of racial-nationalists who have been beguiled into doing its poisonous work for it.

If Nationalists wish to earn a broadcast, they would need to compromise and co-operate with each other. It might be possible for different parties, each retaining its own party name, to be able to form an electoral alliance. I invite any nationalist party with general election ambitions to contact us so that we can start to negotiate:

-which seats would be contested by which party;

-whether it would be sufficient to form a temporary alliance or whether it would be necessary for all candidates to contest seats under the same party name;

-a joint manifesto;

-a uniform election leaflet (or possibly alternatives);

-the content of any broadcast.

Even if a general election should not be held, London elections and local elections will be held, for which party election broadcasts would be available for parties contesting a minimum number of seats. Again, it is unlikely that any one party would qualify for such a broadcast but an alliance of parties might qualify.

I suggest that negotiations, bilateral or multilateral, on the record or off the record, should be held without delay. I invite any interested parties to contact us without delay.

Please use the contact form on this [BNP Ideas] website.
